Garry Cobb Joins The Farzy Show with Marc Farzetta | Eagles Draft | 5/2

It’s Monday, Everybody! The Farzy Show with Marc Farzetta returns, breaking down everything that happened over the weekend in Philly Sports, joined by former Eagles LB and Fox 29/JAKIB Media NFL Analyst Garry Cobb

Marc gets into his initial reactions to the Eagles Draft. In hindsight, Farzy believes the Eagles have upgraded the defensive line, solidified their offensive line, and acquired A.J. Brown. The Birds took this draft to invest in the defense, and now it is up to Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon to construct this defense.

Now that the Eagles have significantly invested in their linebackers, Marc believes there is no excuse not to win the NFC East. Farzy shares his initial reaction on the Cam Jurgens pick over Nakobe Dean despite the Eagles taking him one round later on the JAKIB Media Draft Day Special. On the bright side, the Eagles’ NFL Draft worked out. Farzy Rating: A- for the Birds!

Next, Farzetta discusses the Sixers’ Joel Embiid being out indefinitely with a concussion and orbital fracture. Indefinitely? It does not apply to Joel Embiid. Joel Embiid will be back on the floor, and it will only keep him out for two games with the fractured face and beat concussion protocol. “That is the guy I want on my team” -Marc Farzetta. Embiid scores, he airplanes, and then Siakam injures Embiid’s face is a series of unfortunate events in the game’s final four minutes. Marc believes the Miami Heat series will be rough for the Sixers without Joel Embiid.

Then, on the Rothman Orthopedic Guest Line, Farzetta is joined by former Eagles LB and Fox 29/JAKIB Media NFL Analyst Garry Cobb. Cobb and Farzetta discuss the Cam Jurgens pick and how the Birds think he will be the next Jason Kelce to take over when he retires. Why did Dean drop so much in the draft? According to Cobb, sometimes rumors get started for a guy who was part of the National Championship defense, but Dean is a mature instinctive player who will thrive. Garry Cobb highlights the need for versatility to make an impact and win games in the NFL nowadays. Both Farzy and Cobb agree the Birds had a plan and executed it well, especially at the linebacker position.

Steak and Main chat check with Marc Farzetta and answers all the fans’ comments and concerns about Philly sports. Howie Roseman wowed the city of Philadelphia! The Phillies dropped ⅔ against the Mets. It is good that Kyle Lowry will be out for the Heat in addition to the Sixers not having Embiid, so maybe they can steal Game 1 on the road.

Finally, on the Morning Rush, brought to you by Sky Motor Cars, Marc highlights the Philly Fan at the NFL Draft that received the reporter’s number was 100% staged, and it was great television. The Phillies host the Texas Rangers for a two-game set starting tomorrow night.
