“I expect Deshaun Watson to be a member of the Eagles” | Hugh Douglas joins the Farzy Show 7/27

Happy Hughsday everyone!! Farzy is back bringing you everything in Philly sports!

The Phillies started strong against the Washington Nationals, capping off an impressive night with a down to the wire 6-5 victory. “That is exactly what you want to see,” a delighted Farzy says. The Phillies were able to pick up half a game on the New York Mets and are now 3.5. games out of first place in the NL East.

The rest of the season may be easier than the first half but the Phillies still need to show up every night and be the better team. With last nights’ win, the Phillies are now a game over .500, at 50-49. The Phillies will take on the Nationals again tonight at Citizens Bank Park.

Farzy breaks down the first day of training camp for the Eagles and remembers his favorite memories from past training camps. What is your favorite training camp memory? The other major topic facing the Eagles is: Who will be the Eagles starting QB? Will it be Zach Ertz or Deshaun Watson?

For Farzy, the “biggest question mark is how good a coach is Nick Sirianni?” What can he do with this Eagles squad? These questions are all looming for the Eagles. We will know more as training camp gets underway tomorrow.

In Sixers news, Keith Pompey reports that a Ben Simmons trade is inevitable as there have been reports from Liberty Ballers that the Sixers have struggled to get in contact with Simmons since the season has ended.

On the Rothman Orthopaedics Guest Line, Farzy checks in with Hugh Lamont Douglas who breaks down the Eagles roster for the upcoming season. They also joke about Farzy’s upcoming trip to Colorado.

On the Morning Rush Segment, brought to you by Sky Motor Cars, Farzy checks in with Joe Girardi and how Andrew McCutchen has been doing as of late.
