Roy Burton Joins The Farzy Show with Marc Farzetta | Sixers Game 2 | Phils Drop Another | 5/4

May the Fourth be with all of Philly on this Wednesday! The Farzy Show with Marc Farzetta is back again with another new episode, joined by “The Broad Street Line” 106.5FM’s host Roy Burton

To start the show, the Phillies drop the opener of a two-game set with the Texas Rangers. Ranger Suarez pitched well, Alec Bohm made an error, and the Phils could not overcome the 6-4 loss. The Phillies fall to 11-13 on the season but hold onto third place in the division. Bohm needs to be better and get the ball out of his mitt because he is missing easy out.

Also, Mike Yeo will not be back as the Philadelphia Flyers Head Coach, so the search begins to turn the team around.

Next, Farzetta gets into the J.J. Reddick comments on the Sixers. Marc believes that Reddick’s candid take on how Doc Rivers handles this team and James Harden’s performance indicates that poor decisions and lack of adjustments have debilitated the Sixers. Give Paul Reed the start, then the rest of the Sixers can create space and shoot threes. Farzy thinks JJ Reddick has a future in coaching and if Rivers is gone next year, sign this man to coach the Philadelphia 76ers immediately!

Then, on the Rothman Orthopedic Guest Line, Farzetta is joined by Roy Burton of “The Broad Street Line” to discuss the Philadelphia 76ers. Burton believes that Tobias Harris will be that X-Factor that will make or break the series with the Miami Heat. Both Farzy and Roy agree that the Sixers do not have that guy who can just come off the bench and support the starting cast as they need. James Harden cannot do the things he used to, and it could be Chris Webber 2.0! Marc and Roy think that the Sixers will lose this series to Miami in 5 or 6 games, but it all depends on the return of Joel Embiid.

Catch Farzy and Roy Burton this Saturday on The Broad Street Line 106.5FM at 10 AM for Marc’s guest appearance!

The Steak and Main sponsor the chat check on Social Media, answering all the fans’ comments and concerns about Philly sports. James Harden is not worth a $200 million extension for the state of play he has produced, and the Sixers should not feed into it. Regardless, Farzy feels that the Sixers might have a chance in Game 2. Marc references The Karate Kid Part II as a decent movie, but it seems the Phillies and the Sixers need Mr. Miyagi to fix them.

Finally, on the Morning Rush, brought to you by Sky Motor Cars, Farzetta lets you know the Phightins will be back tonight at 6:45 pm at Citizens Bank Park with Zach Wheeler on the bump against Martin Perez. The Sixers tip-off at 7:30 pm for Game 2 of the Second Round of the NBA Playoffs.
