Zach Berman Joins The Farzy Show with Marc Farzetta | Eagles Draft | 4/28
It’s Draft Day, baby! Marc is back with an all-new episode of The Farzy Show with Marc Farzetta, joined by Zach Berman of The Athletic live from the Steven Singer Studios, talking all things Eagles Draft.
Farzy starts off the show with his Top 5 Good Vibes about Howie Roseman: 1.) He still has his hair, 2.) Occasionally funny at Press Conferences, 3.) Good work ethic, 4.) He’s always been nice to me, and 5.) He won a Super Bowl. As Marc pushes the good vibes into the universe, he wonders if the Eagles trade up? Or stay at Picks 15 and 18? The Eagles world will find out tonight at 8 pm.
Marc continues the positive vibes as the Phillies won their third game in a row! The Phightins lineup is pumping on all cylinders scoring 25 runs during this series with the Colorado Rockies. The Phillies are in third place in the NL East with a 9-10 record and can finally get up to .500 with a series sweep win against the Rockies today at Citizens Bank Park.
Next, Farzetta clarifies that he is not confident in this Sixers team winning Game 6. The only way to win is if this team leans on Tyrese Maxey because James Harden and Tobias Harris have not stepped up enough. A new soundbite of Duck Rivers praising himself about his 3-0 series losses from the past is not great. The possibility of it happening again with the Sixers is worrisome. Still, Marc is not having it until Rivers says he needs to do better and take responsibility.
Then, on the Rothman Orthopedic Guest Line, Farzetta first talks with Zach Berman of The Athletic. Marc and Zach discuss whether Eagles fans will sleep happy Thursday night. Berman believes it is a matter of perspective depending on whether the QBs get picked all in the first ten picks. This will determine how aggressive Howie Roseman will be in Round 1 of the draft. The Eagles could move forward or back depending on what type of player and value they are trying to draft. Zach and Marc highlight Jordan Davis, Treylon Burks, Dax Hill, and David Ojabo as possible options for birds if they fall.
The chat check on Social Media is brought to you by Steak and Main, answering all the fans’ comments and concerns about Philly sports. The fans say the Sixers Playoff game will be the “flip” during the Eagles Draft tonight. Will the Sixers and Doc be able to close out the series? Speaking on the isolated incident in the 2018 Super Bowl, everything Howie Roseman brought in was a hit! But can he do it again?
Finally, on the Morning Rush, brought to you by Sky Motor Cars, Zack Wheeler will be on the bump for the Phils against Austin Gomber of the Colorado Rockies at 1:05 pm at the Bank. The Sixers tip-off at 7 pm tonight as they look to close out the series against the Toronto Raptors north of the border. Here is hoping all goes well for the Phillies, Sixers, and Eagles. Positive Vibes Only!
